Rowan Gwen: Take Three

First, I tried it without the tie and then with i-cords. And finally, crochet cords. The pattern is from Rowan Bigger Picture. The yarn is Rowan Big Wool in color Artic 013.

I am happy with this sweater and may try it again with a hood, single button on the top, and hopefully some knowledge of how to do short rows the next go around.

This was my first attempt at set-in sleeves and if I avoid the ladder bind-off next time, it will making seaming a whole lot easier.

The first FO that will contribute to my participation in the SpringKnit-UpButton.jpg.

One down and a few more to go.

What a gorgeous sweater; good call with the crochet cords, they're perfect. Really nice work. Thanks for the shout, too!
